    i) Dame Mary Crowley, widow, niece of John Knight, gentleman, deceased; ii) Ambrose Burges, son and heir of Lettice Burges (deceased) another niece of John Knight. Both parties are seized of one moiety each of lands at Hendon. (i) has agreed to purchase moiety of (ii), for £2,400: i.e. one moiety of the following: a) --- 18 ½ acres freehold meadow, pasture and woods in occupation of Thomas Etheridge --- closes called Prailes Field, 23 acres --- 4 acres wood called Long Croft Hought --- 18 acres in Long Croft Field, in occupation of Francis Etheridge In occupation of John Ritchbull b) --- closes called Renters, Kitchen, Croft, the High Fields, Wormstall, White field Mead, White Field Springs, Great Grove field, the Long Crofts, Water Ferrow Akeridge, White’s field and Prail Lane, total 77 acres. In occupation of William Nichol c) --- 4 closes, 7 ½ acres, in occupation of John Poulson Mutual bond, £5,000, to observe covenants.
