Mortgage by (i) to (ii), to secure £1,200: --- messuage called the Crowne, alias the Guilt Crowne, on south side of Cheapside, St Mary le Bow, London --- soil and ground on which it stands, 16ft in front, east to west, and 15ft 7 inches at back, east to west, and 47ft north to south --- little yard enclosed and separated by a brick wall, paved with freestone, on which a warehouse now stands, and covered with a flat of lead, at south end of the messuage, east to west 15½ ft, and north to south 11½ ft. All in occupation of William Piggott. --- messuage in Crowne Court or Three Leg Court, in Cheapside, with soil and ground. Occupied by Samuel Waldo. All purchased by Dame Elizabeth St John, mother of (i), from Sir Thomas Allen of Finchley (deceased). Reciting: Lease for 21 years, 27 October 1669, Dame Elizabeth St John to William Piggott.
