We John Higgins & Charles Longuet Higgins Esquires, two of the Justices of the Peace for the County of Bedford, having called to our assistance Mr Nathaniel Godfrey of the parish of Turvey in the County of Bedford, a Surgeon, upon view and examination of the said Jane French, wife of John French are satisfied that the said Jane French is Insane and having now made enquiry into the place of settlement of Jane French do adjudge the last legal settlement of Jane French to be in Turvey. Six shillings due to the Guardians of the Poor for conveying the said jane French to the County Lunatic Asylum.
