John Carrington Conquest, Bedford, solicitor. 2) William Henry Covington, Bedford, tobacconist 3) Louis Alexander Mackintosh, civil engineer reciting deed of 8 November 1890 recited in Abstract of Title, and reciting that (1) had agreed to sell a plot of land to (2) for £100, and that (2) had resold to (3) for £128 18s 1d, CONVEYANCE by (1) to (3) in consideration of £100 to (1) and £28 18s 1d to (2) ... piece of land part of three closes containing together 28 acres 1 rood 8 poles on West side of Kimbolton Road in parish of St. Peter Martin, recently laid out as St. Peter's Glebe Building Estate, bounded North by land fronting Park Avenue South by St. George's Road East by land of Mr. Willshaw West by land of Augustus Cufande Palmer COVENANTS: 1) Building lines 2) Erection of walls 3) Road repair 4) Businesses of brewer, distiller, innkeeper, wine and spirit retailer not to be carried on on premises. Only busineses allowed are barrister, solicitor, physician, surgeon, apothecary, architect, surveyor, artist, school boarding house keeper. 5) No temporary buildings. 6) Not more than 2 houses to be built on plot. If detached house, to be not less value than £300, if semi-detatched, not less than £250. 5 July 1894
