    Two copies of removal order. Certificate stating that John Line was chargeable to St Mary Bedford and in the workhouse of the Bedford Union 29th October 1842. Examination of John Line: I am about 21 years of age. On the 6 November 1834 I was bound apprentice by Indenture bearing date (which I now produce) with the consent of the trustees of the Bedford Charity to John King of St Sepulchre, Northampton, boot and shoe maker from the date of the same Indentures for the term of seven years. The Indentures were signed and sealed by my Master and myself in the presence of Mr John Furze then acting Clerk to the said Trustees. I served my master John King under the said Indentures and resided with him in the said parish of St Sepulchre from the time of binding until the whole term of my apprenticeship had expired. I am now maintained in the workhouse of the Bedford Union at the charge of the parish of St Mary in this Borough and am the person referred to in the certificate of chargeability.
