Henry Hinde of Bedford, Master of the Hospital of Saint John the Baptist, Bedford and his co-brethren; (ii) John, 4th Duke of Bedford Operative Part: - (i) leased (a) to (ii) for 40 years at 10/- per annum in rent Property: (a) messuage in Bedford, Saint Paul on the W side of High Street adjoining a messuage called the Rose Inn formerly of Henry Horton, then of Charles Jackson DD and Margaretta, his wife, John Aldwinkle, gentleman and Anne, his wife, and now (ii) and in the occupation of John Hill and messuage of Thomas Faldo, gentleman in the occupation of William Faldo, perukemaker and called the Ragged Staff S; the castle ditch E; the W side having a breadth of 18 feet 6 inches and on E a breadth of 18 feet Witnesses: - Charles Jackson; - Thomas Butcher
