    Settlement after Marriage Parties: (i) Edward Sculthorpe of Puttenham [Hertfordshire], clerk; (ii) Samuell Needham of Dickleburgh [Norfolk], clerk; George Needham, citizen and salter of London Reciting: - (i) was seized of (a)-(e) Operative Part: - (i) covenanted with (ii) regarding (a)-(e) in consideration of (i)’s marriage to Joyes and articles of agreement made before it Property: (a) Angel Inn, Angel Street, Bedford, in the occupation of Thomas Rose; (b) The Star Inn, Angel Street, Bedford, in the occupation of Richard Skelton; (c) parcel of garden ground in the occupation of Lewis Smyth (d) the Burgess Tithe on corn and grain on 36 acres of arable called the Burgess Land; (e) all tithes of corn, grain and hay on ten acres of arable in Newnham Fields, Goldington and Bedford, the land abutting: N and S on the Burgess Land Habendum: - (a) and (e) to be to the use of Edward Sculthorpe for his life, remainder to Joyes Sculthorpe for her life, remainder to the use of their children Witnesses: - Daniel Clerke; - Constantia Clerke
