    Release Parties: (i) John Savage of Acton [Suffolk], esquire; John Turner of Saint Michael, Cornhill, citizen and draper of London; (ii) Francis Beckett, gentleman and alderman Reciting: - lease and release of 27 and 28 September 1669 in which (a) was conveyed to John Turner, Sir William Ayolffe, baronet of Great Brackstead [Essex] and Humphry Weld of Lulworth Castle [Dorset] Operative Part: - (i) released (a) to (ii) for £195 Property: (a) six acres of arable in Newnham Field in Bedford, Saint Paul and Bedford, Saint Cuthbert in the occupation of William Laundye abutting: N on a windmill in the same field; S on Great Ouse; Millers Leys E; Burgess Land W and all tithes on it (b) the Burgess Tithe on corn and grain on 36 acres of arable called the Burgess Land; (c) all tithes of corn, grain and hay on ten acres of arable in Newnham Fields, Goldington and Bedford in the occupation of William Laundey, John Cleaton and several others, the land abutting: N and S on the Burgess Land Covenant by (ii) allowing (i) access to the windmill Witnesses: - Stephen Alcocke senior; - John Gardiner; - Robert Guidott; - Nicholas Calton Endorsed note: “Mr. Beckett to pay £103 upon the 27th day of June 1671” [see R6/5/9/3]
