    Release Parties: (i) George Sale of New College, Oxford, gentleman, eldest son and heir of George Sale of Saint Clement Danes’ [Middlesex], gentleman, deceased; (ii) Marie Anne Sale, widow and administratrix of George Sale, deceased; (iii) William Hamerton of Lothbury [London], merchant Reciting: - bond of 15 October 1736 by George Sale of Saint Clement Danes [Middlesex], gentleman to repay £960 to (iii) - R6/5/8/33; - death of George Sale before he repaid any of the £960 or £100; - (iii) at Michaelmas 1736 recovered judgement against (ii) in the Court of Common Pleas, Westminster for £960 and costs; - assignment of 17 December 1736 from (1) Marie Anne Sale; (2) William Hamerton as security for the £960 of the personal estate of George Sale, deceased in trust for sale to pay the rent of the house in which (1) lived, remainder to the use of (2) to discharge the debt of £960 but paying to (1) the residue after deducting the rent and the £960 - R6/5/8/34; - (iii) took possession of (a)-(c) soon after R6/5/8/34 and had received the rents; - R6/5/8/37 showing £1,090/10/- still owing to (iii) which exceeded the value of (a)-(c); - (i) and (ii) had agreed to convey (a)-(c) to (iii) who would take them in full satisfaction of the debt of £1,090/10/- Operative Part: - (i) and (ii) conveyed (a)-(c) to (iii) in consideration of the debt of £1,090/10/- Property: (a) Rye Close of thirteen acres in Bedford, Saint Mary; (b) Row Mead of twelve acres in Bedford, Saint Mary; (c) forty seven acres of arable in the common fields of Bedford, Saint Mary; Witnesses: - John Alexander of Threadneedle Street; - Richard Bristowe, Six Clerks Office
