Mortgage by demise for 500 years
Parties:
(i) William Hamerton of Lothbury [City of London], merchant;
(ii) Roger Jenyns of Windsor [Berkshire], esquire
Reciting:
- bond of 15 October 1736 by George Sale of Saint Clement Danes [Middlesex], gentleman to (i) to repay £1,920 [sic - £920] at a rate of 4.66% interest making £960 to be paid on 15 April 1737;
- R6/5/8/33;
- R6/5/8/34;
- death of George Sale before he repaid any of the £960 or £100;
- (i) took possession of (a)-(c) soon after R6/5/8/34 and had taken the rents for them
