Reciting:
- demise for 99 years of (a) on 4 July 1640 from (1) Humfrey Newton the elder; William Doughtie of Lincolns Inn, gentleman; Thomas Doughtie, gentleman (brother of William); Sir William Boteler of Biddenham; Richard Taylor of Clapham, sergeant at law; Thomas Rolt of Milton Ernest to (2) Anne Lee of London, widow;
- demise for 98 years, 11 months, 3 weeks, 3 days of 10 July 1640 from (1) Anne Lee to (2) Humfrey Newton the elder with power of re-entry of (2) did not pay £1,080;
- the money was not repaid and Anne Lee re-entered the premises and after the death of Humfrey Newton, deceased, made an assignment on 18 February 1647 [1648] with Humfrey Newton the younger and John and Eleanor Newton to Olyver Boteler the younger of (a)
