    He and Harrod rested 500 yards past the house which was afterwards robbed. They rested 1 hour. Harrod got up and went to meet Williams and Gilshilan and said they were going to Northampton as Williams has an aunt there who would help him, which would help them on the road. He believed him and went with him. He is innocent of the robbery. "When I had my last hearing, I would have explained this but for my impediment".
