    Suspension of order due to Sophia Green being unable to travel due to sickness and infirmity. Suspension lifted 10 December 1841. Examination of Thomas Green of All Saints, Huntingdon: I am the father of John Green whose wife Sarah Green and her three children Sophia aged 9 years, Thomas aged 7 years and John aged 3 years are now chargeable to the parish of St Paul, Bedford. My son to the best of my knowledge and belief has done no act to gain a settlement in his own right. On 24th April 1804 I bound myself apprentice by Indenture which I now produce to William Gadsby of Windmill Street, Tottenham Court Road, St Pancras, Middlesex, coachmaker to serve from the 22 April 1803 for the term of seven years, and I served the said William Gadsby under the said Indenture and resided in the said parish during the said term. I was married on the 3rd June 1810 by Banns to my present wife Frances formerly Frances Chapman, spinster, in the parish church of St Giles in the Fields, Middlesex, by whom I had issue the said John Green who was born 11th December 1811. About the year 1814 I rented a house - no.10 Kirkman's Place, Tottenham Court Road , St Pancras of William Hansell of Tottenham Court Road, aforesaid, potato merchant, at the yearly rent of £25 and occupied and paid the rent for teh same for the space of two years. I have done no other act to gain a settlement elsewhere. Examination of Sarah Green: I was married to my husband John Green 6th August 1832 at the parish church of St John, Bedford, by whom I have issue three children Sophia aged 9 years, Thomas aged 7 years and John aged 3 years. My husband John Green has left me for the space of eight weeks last past. he has done no act to gain a settlement in his own right. My maisden name was Sarah Warren. i am now actually chargeable to the parish of St Paul, Bedford. My daughter Sophia is now ill of the typhus fever and to the best of my belief is incapable of being removed, she is confined to her bed.
