- Scope and ContentExamination of Susannah Elizabeth Watford at present residing at 3 John's Place, Turks Head, Golden lane, St Luke, Middlesex: I am the widow of Alexander Watford, deceased, to whom I was married 31st July 1827 and by him I have 3 children namely Susannah Elizabeth aged 11 years, Anna Aged 8 years and Joel aged 2 years . I am with my said children actually chargeable to the said parish. Examination of Hannah Watford; I am the widow of John Watford, deceased, the father of Alexander Watford, deceased who was the husband of Susannah Elizabeth Watford and the said Alexander Watford is one of my children by my said husband. The said Alexander Watford never did any act to gaina settlement in his own right and was born in the parish of Oakley in the County of Bedford. My said husband was settled in the said parish of Oakley by parentage and birth. He also served his apprenticeship to his father Isaac Watford and resided with him during and after the term of apprenticeship in the said parish of Oakley. My said husband never did any act to shift hissettlement out of the said parish of Oakley.
