(b)from Clark, Folkestone to Johnny just about to go to St Elois, not going to Greece sorry Mr Dick is going out again undated (1915) (c) from Clark, Glencorse Camp 12th Battalion Royal Scots to Johnny just off for France 1 November 1915 (d) from Walls, Freshwater Camp to Faith glad heard Mr Dick well, hope he comes home safe again would like to see her over Christmas leave 8 November 1915 (e) Letter from 'soldier in whom we were all interested'. In camp in England misses his friend 'M' (who went to the front) thinks that he will meet Mr Dick have not seen Hartley (originally a miner) about 4 miles away reformed character; does not drink in canteen after football matches has 3 hours schooling every day undated
