Base Hospital, Surgeon to Faith gratitude for their help If after two months respite Faith can still help 'I feel sure I may apply to you' thanks for hospitality of friends made in your house 30 August 1915 (c) from W Pratt to Faith glad rumour of all private relief hospitals being closed is unfounded comments on places like Hinwick House restoring humanity to dehumanised, wounded soldiers 31 August 1915 (d) from H A Clark, Eastbourne to Faith comments on death of Colonel Bourne "his life was a life lived for others and all the people with whom he came in contact" glad Lieutenant Orlebar (Dick) is getting on so well organ recital at St Peter's Church appreciated 25 July 1915 (e) letter from H A Clark at Eastbourne to Faith "It is people like you who make it easy for us, whose work is not just what we would choose in ordinary circumstances to carry on in our work, knowing that we are not alone in it, but that every time Englishman is at ones back in their own particular sphere, and all for one goal, Justice but is too brave to say so" off to Glencorse to join Reserve Battalion; from there get drafted out to the Front put letter from Faith beside one written by his mother on her death bed 19 August 1915
