Charlton to Richard Orlebar of Hinwick Duke of Grafton thanks for present of hounds - would like Orlebar's servant to stay with them for a week, would willingly buy a useful horse that would serve his huntsman Roaper and writer going to Sussex - the King does him the honour to see the hounds then go with Duke of Bolton to New Forest. Duke of Grafton promised Boetler his Lodge again and will pay off small debt Roaper, General Compton and Harry Baker going to drink his health 28 August 1722 made c 20c
