She stated she was an innocent woman. She had 2 pillows which PC Breakwell saw in her house. One for 25 years and the other for 13 years. She knew nothing of Mr Manning’s bed except she made it. She had been out of the house for 3 weeks whilst he was lodging with them and out of the house 3 days a weeks to gain her own living.
