Depositions of Henry Peak, farmer of Folksworth, Elizabeth Peak, wife of Henry and William Snell, police constable of Keysoe. In the case of Abraham Fuller accused of stealing a wooden pig trough.

Elizabeth Peak: wife of Henry of Folksworth but they had occupied a farm in Colmworth the previous year. Her husband had left her by herself for a few weeks and whilst he was gone a pig trough was taken from the premises. Abraham Fuller was in her husband’s employment at the time and she had asked him 2 or 3 times about the trough. She was sent for with her husband and identified the trough in the pigsty alongside Abraham Fuller’s house to be the one missed. She did not give him the trough. William Snell: he observed the trough in Abraham Fuller sty and told Mr & Mrs Peak of it. The prisoner said Mr Peak had given it to him and he had taken it his house with other things. He later said that he had taken it at night with a load of wheat. Mr Peak had advised him the previous December of the loss of the pig trough.
