Scope and Content
The plans date from 1964-1966 and form a series of layout plans; This estate was developed by Bedford Borough Council for both council and private housing. Planning permission was granted in October 1962 and construction took place between 1964 - 1966. The site boundaries include Putnoe Lane in the North West, Putnoe Street in the South and Church Lane in the East. These plans were the County Planning Department's working copies.
