When the sale was over he went to take them and found a pair of dibbers gone. There were two pairs of dibbers in the lot besides other things. The dibbers produced are the ones he bought. James Neal of Clophill, carpenter – on 28 September he was employed by Mr Low of Clophill who had a sale to see that nothing that was sold went away without a ticket. George Worker came to him and told him he had lost some dibbers from a lot he had bought. He then remembered seeing Giddins put something into a bin. He followed Giddins who was assisting a man named Beastien to carry the bin home. He opened the bin, took out the dibbers and told Giddins he was a rogue and a rascal. Giddins asked him not to say anything about it. He carried the dibbers back to the sale and delivered them to Worker.
