- Scope and ContentOn Sunday 24 September between 4 and 5pm he saw David Croxford of Barton in his barn. Croxford took about ½ peck of potatoes, put them in his round frock and ran across the garden. He ran after him. On seeing him Croxford dropped the potatoes, ran and hid himself. He gathered up the potatoes, put them in a basket and kept them separate from his potatoes. He is sure they are his.
