- Scope and ContentHe is shepherd to Mr Daniel Gutteridge of Wigmore Hall, Luton. He usually counts the sheep every morning. They were all there on Wednesday, he did not count on Thursday, and on Friday he found one missing. He went to enquire after any stray sheep. A woman came into the field and told him there was one at Donkey Hall. He found a young two toothed sheep, a ewe, at Robert Dimock's the butcher which he identified as his master's. He later saw it in charge of the policeman at his master's house.
