- Scope and ContentI am the widow of William Gazeley late of the parish of Eversholt, who died there 29th June last. I have one child named William, born since his father decease now aged 24 weeks. I have been told frequently by my late husband that he belonged to Cople. I was married 23rd March last. I am now chargeable to te parish of Eversholt. John Gazeley, shoemaker, upon his oath saith: I am now residing at Eversholt and belong to the parish of Cople. I have lived at Eversholt about 16 years. I had a son William Gazeley who died the 29th June last aged 21 years. He has left a wife named Elizabeth and one child born since his decease a boy named William. My son always lived with me, he never was an apprentice nor a hired servant but worked at my trade and he belongs to Cople. Some years ago I received relief from Cople. My son was born in wedlock. My sons widow is living at Eversholt.
