    She is 26 years of age, was born at Tempsford where her father Joseph Althorpe, labourer, resided and was a parishioner. She continued living with her father at Tempsford til about a week before Old Michaelmas Day 1810 when she let herself for a year to William Hughes of Biggleswade, butcher at the yearly wages of five pounds. She went to her master 2 or 3 days after Old Michaelmas Day having had her master and mistress' consent to stay til then with her friends. She continued in the said service til Old Michaelmas Day 1811 and received the whole of her wages. She has not done any other act to the best of her knowledge and belief whereby to gain a settlement.
