He is about 25 years of age. He was born at Blunham. When he was about 14 he let himself to Edward Emery of Cople, farmer, as a hired servant in husbandry for a year but stayed there only half a year. The next Michaelmas he let himself to William Goodliff of Little Staughton, farmer, for a year at the wages of five guineas and he stayed there the whole year and received his full wages. He lived the whole next year with Edward Chandler of Eaton Socon, farmer, at the wages of six guineas and received the same. At St Neots Statute 1805 about a fortnight before Michaelmas he let himself to John Allen of Girtford in the parish of Sandy, at the wages of seven guineas. He went to Mr Allen's service on 11th October 1805 and left it on 11 October 1806 receiving his full wages. He has served five years as a balloted man in the Bedfordshire Militia. He has not done any other act whereby to gain a settlement to the best of his knowledge. He was married Tuesday last at St Paul, Bedford to Martha Allison, spinster.
