    reciting that ii) has, for some time, been in the employment of i) as his clerk and i) has agreed to continue him in such employment and to take out an auctioneer's licence to enable him to sell on the account of i) now ii) agrees to continue the clerk of i) in his business of auctioneer, surveyor and estate agent untill 5 July next, and from then as Clerk to i) from year to year subject to conditions for putting an end to such Clerkship ii) will do all such things relating to said business as i) shall direct or appoint, and will not divulge any dealings etc relating to said business, and will be just and faithful to i) in all his business dealings i) will pay ii) £1 7s weekly every Saturday so long as ii) shall continue to serve him as his Clerk i) may determine these presents by giving ii) 3 months notice and ii) at end of any year, may determine these presents by giving i) three months notice previous to said 5 July ii) will not, within 2 years after leaving the service of i), during a lifetime of i), without licence from him in writing, carry on the business of auctioneer, surveyor or estate agent, or sell for any such other person, within Bedford or 12 miles distant.
