- Scope and ContentHe was born at Blunham. He is 21 years of age. His mother placed him with Joseph Dunton of Blunham, baker with whom he continued five years for his board and clothing. At St Neots Statute about a fortnight before Michaelmas 1807 he let himself to Isaac Arnold of St Neots in the County of Huntingdon, baker, for a year at the wages of three ponds ten shillings. He went to his master on the day after Michaelmas and left it on Michaelmas Day 1808 when he received the whole of his wages. He has ever since worked as a labourer in Blunham without doing any act to his knowledge to gain a settlement. He was married last Tuesday at St Paul, Bedford to Elizabeth Nottingham, spinster.
