She was born in Lidlington in the County of Bedford, her father James Taylor belongs to the parish of Biddenham, he gained settlement by hiring himself to Thomas Estwick of Biddenham, farmer for a year and continuing hjin his service for that year. She has never done any act to gain a settlement in his own right.
