Letter from Joseph Eade to Samuel Whitbread saying that Mr Axley's title is not satisfactory, but may be safe if Mr Cooch can give a favourable answer on one point: the title should be strengthened with a fine, over and above barring the dower, at Samuel Whitbread's expense. Mr Partridge still offers his bond of indemnity and is pressing for an answer. The purchase money for the Endersby transaction is £1400.
