Letter from John Hawkins to James Wortham telling him that he has written to Samuel Whitbread explaining the objection to Mr Partridge's title to land purchased from Mrs Pickering. As the title must be approved by the Court of Chancery before the changes which he is about to make to his settled property can be completed, an indemnity would probably not be adequate.
