  • Title
Letter from Joseph Eade to John Jackson, Broad Street, London, about the Stotfold road, one of the turnpike roads to Astwick. The parish of Stotfold had removed the presentment to the Court of King's Bench. Joseph Eade had withdrawn, at the same Sessions, part of the same road in the parish of Arlesey, as Mr Wilshere thought it would not be supported. Joseph Eade's enquiries show that the part in Stotfold has always been considered a public road, although never repaired, and thinks the presentment might be supported after all. He awaits John Jackson's instructions, which should go to Mr Townsend, 11 Staple Inn.
