Scope and Content
Design for reconstruction by A C Yates is followed by several suggested designs by Usher & Anthony for a new cinema in a style reminiscent of a European monastery or castle with pantiled roof and bell tower. The variations are generally window detailing on the front-of-house end. These are followed by a set of sketches by Deacon & Gude showing designs more in the 1930s cinema style, some more classical than others.
