    Lease: (i) John Polhill, Howbury Hall, esquire (ii) William Audiss, Ulseby, Lincolnshire, farmer. (i) leases to (ii) Woodfield Farm, Renhold (263 acres). Term 6 years from 11 October 1818, freed from all tithes. Rent £340 per annum. £10 per acre for every acre meadow or pasture ploughed up, £10 per acre arable sown with cereals more than 2 years without fallowing. Other covenants and conditions as in X 668/203 to 210 [Details given] This deed to remain in custody of solicitor of (i) for the 6 year term and then to be delivered up to (i). Signatures of both.     Other covenants and conditions as in X 668/203 to 210: Reserving to (i) all timber also all mines and stone quarries. (ii) to keep glass windows in repair, also lead work, solder, thatch, going geers in the pump and well. (ii) to provide wheat straw for thatching. (ii) to bank up 8 rods of ditching or banking. To provide wagon load of straw for stables of (i) on payment of 20s. To level 5 acres of banky pasture and all anthills and molehills. (ii) to relay hedges and make good the fences. (ii) to provide wagon, 4 horses and an able bodied man for one day a year to fetch and carry coals from anywhere not exceeding 10 miles from Howbury Hall. (ii) to preserve game. (i) shall keep buildings insured against fire, (ii) repaying the yearly sum involved.
