He is 22 years of age, born in the parish of Hawnes [Haynes] . His father Richard Haynes, bricklayer then resided and belonged to the said parish of Hawnes and he has not done any act to gain a settlement in his own right to the best of his knoweldge and belief. He was married at St Paul, Bedford on Sunday 14th April 1811 to Margaret Goddard, by whom he has one child named Mary aged nine months.
