- Scope and ContentDetails of other conditions: All timber reserved to (i). Also mines, stone quarries, hunting rights. (i) will keep glass windows, lead work, solder, thatching, going geers etc in good repair, also gates, stiles, rails etc, bridges and fences. Carriage and beer for workmen to be provided. (ii) to bank up 80 rods of banking and ditching every year. (ii) to provide wagon load of wheat straw and deliver it to Howberry Hall stables. Another wagon load of wheat straw to be provided for thatching. (ii) to dung the land. Arable land to be divided into 3. 1/3 to be left fallow. (ii) will every year smooth 5 acres at least of the banky pasture. Also anthills and molehills. No trees to be dug up or lopped without consent of (i). (ii) to find wagon, 4 horses and an able bodied man for 2 days every year to carry coals to Howberry Hall from distance not exceeding 10 miles. Hunting to be preserved. No sub-letting.
