    Conveyance i) Mary gurney, Slapton, Bucks, Spinster. Henry Pettit, Leighton, gentleman. Alfred John Gurney, Leighton Buzzard, gentleman. ii) Ernest Thomas Gurney, Great Gap, Ivinghoe, Bucks, gentleman reciting will of Alfred Gurney, late of Slapton, brewer and maltster, deceased, dated 2 July 1886 as trustees and exors (Alfred John Gurney when 21) by which property held on trust and to pay income to son, said Ernest Gurney until 25, and then to hold the proerty in trust for said Ernest Thomas Gurney. Alfred Gurney died on 12 August 1886. Will (with codicil) proved on 29 December 1888 by Mary Gurney and henry Pettit (Oxford). Also proved on 20 June 1899 by Alfred John Gurney he having attained 21 on 6 June 1893. Ernest Thomas Gurney became 25 on 7 September 1902 now i) convey to ii) farmhoouse at South End or Church End at Totternhoe - barns, rick yard etc. Home Close (2 acres) adjoining (total - 2 acres 2 roods 29 perches) now in occupation of Thomas Twidell ( as shown on a conveyance of 19 January 1860) - right of common for 2 cows- freehold land in 'Whitecot Lane Furlong' in Totternhoe, forming part of North Field (1 rood 27 perches) and numbered 7 in 186 on tithe map of Totternhoe and late in occupation of Willliam Hopkins and then of Alfred gurney. signatures i) witness Robert Graham Walton solicitor, Leighton Buzzard.
