Twelve years ago last Spring she was married at St. Peter, Bedford. She has four children now living, Sophia aged 11 years, Ebenezer aged ten years, Josiah aged three years and Thomas aged one year. She had several times heard her husband declare that he was born in the parish of Steventon [Stevington], and was bound apprentice by Indenture dated 20 January 1794 to his father Jefferey Mackness, carpenter, parishioner of Steventon, for four years. Her husband Jeffery died on Monday 28th May now last.
