- Scope and ContentThey were married at Bolnhurst in 1776. He died at Keysoe in 1781. There were two children, Sarah born 1778 and Samuel born 1780. One year before his death Richard rented from William Fowler of St. Neots, brewer, a Public House and some land at Keysoe, at a rent of £6. At the same time he rented from Messrs Caldecott and Turner some enclosed pasture at Bolnhurst at a rent of £34. On his death Elizabeth gave up the land and at Michaelmas 1791 she went to live with her brother William Blick, farmer, at Houghton Conquest, giving him £100 of her property. On Lady Day 1792 she came to Bedford and lodged with [?] Pulley, widow, in St. John’s for one year at a rent of 1/- per week. Then on Lady Day 1793 she rented from [?] Impey, carpenter, a house in St. Mary’s at a rent of £2.16s. Her £100 of property remained with her brother William Blick.
