- Scope and ContentDetails of recited deeds: Reciting demise of 4 March 1729: (a) Mary Nixon (b) Frances Herbert, Milton Bryan, widow. Consideration £32 paid to (a) by (b), (a) demised to (b) moiety of 13 acres 1 rood arable and sweard, in Marston Moretaine and Wootton, late the lands of William Harding otherwise Hardwick. Term 1000 years. Rent 1 peppercorn yearly, to be void on repayment of £32 16s on a day long since past. Interest of (b) in said property has now become absolute in law for remainder of said term. By assignment of 23 December 1734: (I) Francis Cook, William Jones, John Herbert (executors of Frances Herbert) (II) Mary Phipps, Buckingham, spinster. (I) assigned to (II) premises for residue of term of 1000 years. By assignment of 10 July 1735: (A) Mary Phipps (B) Thomas Hammon, Swanton, Buckinghamshire, yeoman. (A) assigned to (B) said moiety of premises for residue of said term. By demise of 11 July 1735: (1) Henry Hill and wife Mary (2) Thomas Hammon. Consideration 5s to Thomas Roe and £34 to Henry Hill paid by (IB), (IA) demised to (IB) 6 acres arable in Sex Hill, Marston Moretaine, called Whitbread Piece: South Mr Dell North Ambrose Sanderfoot East Long Baulk West common highway then in the occupation of William Wheeler. Term 1000 years, to be void on payment of £34 and interest on a day now past. As said £34 not paid, estate of (IB) became absolute in law in said property for remainder of term of 1000 years. There is now due to (i) £37. (iii) has agreed to purchase premises from (ii) for £48 out of which £37 due to (i) shall be paid.
