    Sarah Wittamore - she is a widow resident at Clophill. About a month before Easter she missed her potato fork from her barn. She had never lent it. The potato fork now produced is hers. Robert Young, police constable no.10 - that morning Mrs Wittamore told him to look for a fork of hers which she had heard was in the possession of William Odell. He went to William Odell and found the fork which he said belonged to his brother Samuel. He went with William Odell to Samuel Odell who claimed the fork and said he had bought it from William Rust (the man who was transported) since Christmas. When he produced the fork to Mrs Wittamore she instantly owned it. Samuel Odell - he bought the fork from William Rust who was transported with Millard and Maddams at Mrs Tompkins's beer shop in Clophill.
