- Scope and ContentWilliam Biggs of Bromham, miller - about 2 or 3 weeks ago he discovered that some pollard had been delivered without his order to a person named Brinkler living at Stagsden by Robert Collier, who at that time was in his service as shepherd and carter and who conveyed flour, bean and pollard to Stagsden and other places from his mill at Bromham. On enquiry he found the article supplied to Brinkler was a fine sort of pollard called dan, which is an article he never sells, and the amount was never brought by the prisoner to his account. He never authorised Collier to dispose of this article. Collier has been in his service about 7 years. Robert Collier - he took 2 bushels of fine pollard to Thomas Brinkler of Stagden he thinks 5 or 6 weeks ago. Brinkler's wife paid him 5 shillings. He had not yet settled with his master but means to settle. He did not put it up, it was in a sack.
