Scope and Content
The subject matter mostly relates to his love for her and his relations, the sending of keepsakes, and the restrictions on his correspondence. There is little insight into the regime at the Camps apart from the following. On 11 August 1946 he wrote: I am at the moment working in the fields. It is hard work and I am always thinking of you as I work.
