Lease and release: (i) George Nash, Higham Gobion, yeoman, Robert Harewood, Preston, Hertfordshire, yeoman (ii) George Exton, Ampthill, gentleman (iii) Edward Shouler, Brickhill Pastures, Ampthill, yeoman. By deed of 28 May 1814 (i) have conveyed part of freehold property of clear yearly value of £10 to uses as provided in marriage settlement. Now in consideration of £538 13s 3d paid to (i) by (iii), (i) with consent of (ii) release to (iii) toft whereon a messuage or cottage formerly stood in Marston Moretaine, with close pasture or orchard adjoining (2 acres), close pasture near adjoining (8 acres), with spinney (3 roods), close pasture adjoining (3 roods), other close (4 acres) with spinney (3 roods). All above are situate at Crow Hill, Marston Moretaine, and conveyed by Edward Pincord to George Exton, deceased, father of (ii), and were late in the occupation of Samuel Clare and now of George Mann.
