- Scope and ContentHer husband is a butcher at Eynesbury. On Wednesday last a hog belonging to Miss Willmott of St Neots was brought to her husband's shop to be killed. She saw it after it was killed the next morning. Six pieces were taken out ot be sent to London. She saw John Harrison pack them up and put them onto a flat. She wrote on a piece of paper "1842 Aug 4, Mr Darrington I have sent you 6 pieces of hog meat from one Mrs Wilmott. By Wood". When she had written the paper she gave it to Harrison and he put it on the top of the pad. Harrison fastened down the pad and gave it to Mr Wood's man. She also gave Harrison a printed paper with a direction G. Darrington, Salesman, Newgate Market, London to put on the outside and gave the pad to Waterfall and Waterfall took it away.
