- Scope and ContentCharles Price one of the Rural Police of Bedfordshire stationed at Eaton Socon - yesterday he was called by Jackson to take a man into custody for stealing a watch from Cohn. When he came to where Cohn was Cohn gave him the watch now produced and said the man who had stolen it had run away and described the man. He knew from the description who the man was. After about a quarter of an hour he apprehended Townsend and said to him he wanted him for the watch. Townsend said it was a lark. He took Townsend to the cage. That morning Cohn saw him and was satisfied Townsend was the man who stole the watch. William Townsend - has nothing to say.
