Scope and Content
At Michaelmas about 1791, let himself to William Hill, Sawtry, Hunts., farmer, to serve him for 1 year at a wage of £4. Served Hill for the whole year and received his wages accordingly. About March 1793, entered into the Bedfordshire Militia and had served therein continually ever since. Married Elizabeth Byaway at St. Paul’s, 28 December 1801.
