    Conveyance: (i) Richard Denis, Great Barford, gentleman, and wife Sarah (ii) James Bayley, Marston Moretain, gentleman (iii) Peregrine Nash, Bedford, brewer (iv) Theed Pearse, Bedford, gentleman. Reciting previous deeds and that (ii) is desirous that messuage etc may be limited or assured in order to prevent any wife of his becoming dowable. Now in consideration of £2500 paid by (ii) to (i), (i) acknowledge that it is part of said sum of £6000 purchase money, and so from £2500 they release and discharge (ii), and also in consideration of £3500 secured by bond of (ii) and also in consideration of £3500 secured by bond of (ii) and of 10s paid by (iii) to (i), (i) by direction of (ii) release to (iii) messuage or farmhouse in Wroxhill, Marston Moretaine, and other property [Details given] Signatures of (i) and (ii). Also reciting that fine was levied in Hilary Term to (iv) of above mentioned premises by description of: -- 3 messuages -- 1 cottage -- 2 dovehouses -- 5 gardens -- 190 acres land -- 160 acres pasture -- 10 acres wood in Marston Moretaine No use has been declared of said fine. Now (i) appoint that said fine levied by them or between the parties to this deed is intended to relate to before mentioned property and subject to uses and trusts mentioned. Also (i) agrees with (ii) to repay £3500 on 5 January 1820 and interest in the meantime at 5% per annum. Sum may be paid off early by instalments of not less than £200. (ii) is permitted to fell the timber and to pay money arising to (i) within 3 months. If timber not sold within 3 months then value considered as part of payment of said £3500.
