- Scope and ContentGeorge Wood: nothing to say Thomas Spacey: he bought the duck from Wood. Wood told him he had won the duck in a raffle at the Waggon & Horses and asked if he could put it in his barn. That was on Sunday. On the Monday whilst going to New Town he asked Spacey to buy the duck. Spacey told him it was worth about 10 pence but he only had 7. He gave Wood 5 pence and promised him part of the duck when he killed it. Robert Farr: Charles Bigg came to him on Monday between 10 and 11 o'clock and told him James Evans wanted to speak to him. On going out, Bigg said Evans did not want him but he had found 3 rabbits and he wanted to sell them to him. He needed a shovel and hod to go to work. He told Bigg they were not fit to eat and went to James Evans and bought them in there.
