- Scope and ContentLet himself, when then a single man, to George Livius, St. Cuthbert’s, in December 1789, to serve him for a year at a wage of 20 guineas and his cloaths [clothing]. Served Livius for a year and about a month, receiving his wages accordingly. No other settlement. Soon after leaving Livius’s service, about January 1790, married Ann, spinster, at St George’s, Hanover Square [London]. One child, Frederick, aged nearly 7 months.
